Louis van Gaal admits striker will be sold despite heroics

Louis van Gaal has today dropped the biggest hint that Javier Hernandez is on his way out of Old Trafford. The 26-year old has been on the fringes of things in Madrid since his loan move last summer, but there is seemingly no way back for the Little Pea.

‘I gave him [Hernandez] a chance and then I said the same thing as I did to Danny Welbeck,’ van Gaal said.

‘When you are a substitute it’s no good. And I won’t change over that. So if you score a goal you are suddenly different? I don’t think so.’

Unfortunately it looks like Chicharito is on his way out whatever happens from here on out. The Mexican has been playing superbly for Real over the last few weeks, and for me I’d like to see him get given one final chance because he cannot be any worse than any of our current strikers barring Wayne Rooney.
