Manchester United and Louis van Gaal seem to be heading on the right path if results are anything to go by, and the Dutchman seems to be really turning the style on of late. However today, in an excellent interview with Henry Winter, the Iron Tulip has admitted that United will be his last job.
“This is my last job. For sure. I have to pay attention to my kids, my grandchildren but also to my wife. They deserve it.” Van Gaal said.
This doesn’t really come as a surprise to many as he isn’t the youngest manager out there, but nonetheless it will be a sad day when he hangs up his boots.
He is a football man through and through, but more importantly than that he seems like a nice, genuine bloke who enjoys the little things in life.
Hopefully he can guide us to some form of success before his time runs out, and maybe he could end it all with a win.
