Louis van Gaal asks media to apologise to him, before leaving press conference early

One year ago today, Louis van Gaal was sharing an embracing Christmas toast with the English media, but today things have changed drastically – following some poor performances on the pitch. The Iron Tulip began his press conference by asking the media for an apology which he did not get.

“Has anybody not a feeling to apologise to me? That’s what I’m wondering. I though I was already sacked, I read it.” Louis van Gaal said.

Despite the results at the moment, you have to back Louis van Gaal here. The media have been printing rubbish about his future all week, and he is well within his rights to give them some back.

At the end of the day now, this just heaps more pressure on him to succeed, and now Manchester United simply have to deliver on the pitch on Boxing Day, when the club head to Stoke City for an extremely tricky away fixture.
