Louis van Gaal has believed to have ended Manchester United’s interest in Toni Kroos, according to Jamie Jackson of The Guardian. Kroos, 24, was believed to have been a top target for former boss David Moyes, but Louis van Gaal does’t have the German playmaker in his plans.
This news comes just hours after respected Bundesliga expert Raphael Honigstein suggested that Kroos will be leaving Bayern Munich, so its a bit tricky to work out who to believe.
Jamie Jackson is usually reliable when it comes to Manchester United news, and now his story has been backed up by the likes of the Telegraph and the Manchester Evening News, so it looks as though the deal could well be off.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Kroos has agreed to stay in Munich for another season at least, and Manchester United are frantically backtracking so they don’t look rather silly…
