Manchester United fans have been calling for Louis van Gaal’s head over the last couple months, and today in his pre-match press conference, the Dutchman admitted he could well be sacked if Manchester United lose another match.
“I cannot lose anymore because then I will be sacked for the fourth time, maybe then it will be true.” Louis van Gaal responded, when asked about whether he could face the sack.
At the end of the day, if Louis van Gaal does get sacked he only has one man to blame; Himself. Results, and in particular performances, haven’t been anywhere near good enough this season, and at this moment in time our spot in the Champions League for next term is certainly in jeopardy.
In terms of replacements the obvious replacements are Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. Ryan Giggs is also in with a shout, but I’d love to see Mauricio Pochettino given a chance at the job. He has worked wonders with Tottenham.
