Manchester United Football Club splashed the cash over the summer, and without doubt the best money was spent on Anthony Martial who cost £38million from AS Monaco. At the time it was heavily criticised, but now that amount of money looks like a drop in the ocean.
Louis van Gaal was obviously elated at the full-time whistle today, and he was full of praise for the man who won the FA Cup semi-final at the death.
“Anthony Martial is unbelievable. We won the game in the last minute and that’s unbelievable.” Louis van Gaal said.
Even if Louis van Gaal does leave this summer, hopefully with an FA Cup win under his belt, one things for certain – he gave us Anthony Martial. The 20-year old has been a sensation since his arrival, and has scored some crucial goals and put in some wonderful performances.
We really do have a star of the future on our hands and it would be foolish if we didn’t build the team around the likes of him, Marcus Rashford and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
