Manchester United Football Club were certainly witnessing deja vu late last night, as photos of a reported ‘Louis van Gaal out’ banner emerged online. However, according to the usually reliable Manchester Evening News, those banners are a fake.
This comes as a huge relief first and foremost, because it would be extremely embarrassing if United fans were prepared to spend an extreme amount of money to express their displeasure at the second manager in just over a year.
It was ridiculous the first time this happened under David Moyes, and it highlighted just how fickle some portions of our fanbase can be, but thankfully it won’t be happening again if the MEN are correct.
Things aren’t going great under Louis van Gaal at the moment, but we have to have the utmost faith that he can turn it around, because he has been there and done it before with a number of clubs.
