Louis van Gaal prepared to quit as Manchester United manager – report

The pressure is clearly mounting on Louis van Gaal’s shoulders at this point in time, with his Manchester United side without a win in seven games, including four straight defeats on the spin. Tomorrow he manages his side in a game against fierce rivals Chelsea, and if the results don’t go the correct way he could be out of the door.

According to the Daily Mail, Louis van Gaal sees this game as a must win, and if he doesn’t deliver the three points, he could well quit as Manchester United manager and put himself out of his own misery.

It would be astonishing if he walked out on Manchester United rather than getting the sack, but it would mean the fans would gain some respect back for him as it would signal that he knows he hasn’t been anywhere near good enough this season.

At the end of the day though, he is still Manchester United boss and the fans must stay behind him until that is no longer the case. Hopefully we can get a huge win tomorrow.
