Louis van Gaal reveals in-form man rested ahead of FA Cup semi-final

Manchester United have a couple of huge fixtures coming this week, with a game against Crystal Palace in the league, followed by a massive cup semi-final against Everton. Louis van Gaal met the media yesterday, and told the world that Marcus Rashford has been given a couple of days off.

“I want to keep him fresh because he is in the momentum of scoring & that is very important for him but also for the team.” Louis van Gaal said.

This certainly makes sense. Lets not forget that Rashford is young and his body is still developing and growing, and he has featured heavily since bursting onto the scene back in February, and a break will do him good.

Rashford has all the talent in the world and has already scored some remarkable goals for his boyhood club, so hopefully that can continue from now until the end of the season.
