Louis van Gaal reveals positive news regarding Manchester United injuries

Finally Manchester United have received some good news on the injury front. Louis van Gaal met the media today, as per usual before a Premier League game. The Dutchman now only has four first-team players who are missing through injury, which is in stark contrast from previous weeks when it has been as high as ten or eleven injuries.

Van Gaal said:

“This morning, we didn’t need any players from the second team and that is a plus,” said van Gaal. “I am very happy because there are no injuries from the international games. I think we’re in a good way. The players who are recovering are not able to play and we have to wait and see for the line-up on Monday. But we have only four players injured now. That is good.”

The four players who are still injured are believed to be Jonny Evans, Paddy McNair, Jesse Lingard and Antonio Valencia.
