Manchester United are preparing to splash the cash once more this summer, as Louis van Gaal is set to be given another £150million to bolster his squad, according to the Daily Mirror. On the top of that list is thought to be a centre-back, a right-back and finally a central midfielder.
Louis van Gaal is preparing for a sit down with Vice-Chairman Edward Woodward within the coming days to discuss transfer plans, and the hope is that they’ll be able to lure one ‘major’ signing to the club in this window, boosting their chances at a spot in the top four.
Mats Hummels is believed to be their number one target, alongside the likes of Kevin Strootman and Nathaniel Clyne. All of which will work wonders in strengthening the squad, and hopefully we’ll be able to offer them Champions League football come next summer.
