Manchester United Football Club brought in Louis van Gaal as manager just around eighteen months ago, and the paper who got the scoop on his move to Manchester was Dutch outlet, De Telegraaf. Once again, they have another exclusive, but this time regarding transfers.
The Dutch publication say that the Manchester United hierarchy have given Louis van Gaal the go ahead to sign a marquee player for €100million if he chooses to do so.
The thought is that the Iron Tulip will hold off any signing of this magnitude until the summer, as he’ll find it easier to lure the big names to the club in the off-season, rather than in the middle of the current campaign.
It is thought that Louis van Gaal will be given the money, regardless of how this season turns out. Although the board will be hoping for a successful one, with some form of silverware being paraded around Manchester come May.
