Yesterday reports emerged that Ryan Giggs could be interested in taking the managerial job at Swansea City, with some reliable sources saying that the club want to speak to the Welshman. And today, Louis van Gaal has spoken to the press about those rumours.
“First I have to speak with him when it is true. I never read papers so I cannot speak about it.” Van Gaal said.
Personally I’d love to see Ryan Giggs leave and manage Swansea City. Whilst its great having him sit on the Manchester United bench, it feels as though he could be out there as a manager, similarly to Gary Neville at Valencia.
It would give us a glimpse of exactly what Ryan Giggs’ capabilities are as the main man in charge of a football club, because if we threw him in at the deep end without knowing anything about that – it could go drastically wrong.
