Manchester United’s manager Louis van Gaal has been embroiled in somewhat of an argument with the club legend Paul Scholes over the last few weeks. The former United midfielder criticised the Dutchman for his style of play, and the duo have been firing jibes back and forth since.
Louis van Gaal has had another pop at the veteran, saying sarcastically that Scholes wouldn’t be pleased to know that his Ajax side won everything in European football whilst playing an attacking brand of football.
Van Gaal said: “We (Ajax) won everything with very attacking football. I don’t say it too much because otherwise Mr Scholes will be very angry!”
Hopefully this is the last of the rowing between the pair. Paul Scholes is a hero amongst the fans and he always will be, whilst Louis van Gaal is the manager and it isn’t nice seeing them argue.
