Louis van Gaal tells fans he will be Manchester United manager next year

Manchester United could be considering changing their manager this summer, despite Louis van Gaal having a three year contract. The Iron Tulip himself is adamant that he’ll be in charge next year however, as he prepares to see out the final year of his contract.

“We spoke about that (length of contract) and we have a process of three years. I want to sign for two years, they want three years, not I.” Louis van Gaal is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

“I have signed for three years so next year you see me again!”

This won’t be the news that the majority of Manchester United’s fans want to hear. The crowd fully expect a new man in charge next season, with Jose Mourinho the firm favourite to land the job.

If Manchester United win the FA Cup this season, as well as finishing in the top four, that’ll leave the board with a huge decision to make because surely that has to be considered as process.
