Luke Shaw explains how good Solskjaer has been since his arrival

Manchester United have undergone a remarkable transformation under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, that much is obvious.

Wins against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea have been pretty special, it feels wonderful to have the good times rolling once again. Next up, Liverpool at home; another real test of the players’ character and mettle.

Ahead of the superstar showdown, Luke Shaw has lauded the praise on the Baby Faced Assassin, with the left-back stating that he’s done an ‘amazing’ job, while also adding the the Norwegian is a likeable bloke.

“It’s just amazing to look at the job Ole has done since he came in. How much he has turned it around and how much the place is in a positive way now.” Shaw told

“You know, Ole does it at the right time [shows another side to him]. He knows how good we can be and, if we’re not up to his standards or the standards of Manchester United, he will certainly let you know.

“We’ve had a few moments like that where we might have been comfortable in a game but got a bit sloppy. He’s the manager and he tells the players what he wants. It’s good and what we need sometimes, a kick up the backside from the manager, if we’re getting too comfortable.

“It keeps everyone on their toes but he’s an amazing guy and a brilliant manager.”

I think it’s fair to say that nobody expected it to be this good. Twelve wins from thirteen is just sensational, it’s looking like the Paris Saint-Germain loss was merely a blip.

For Shaw to come out and say this is pretty telling. He was actually enjoying his season under Jose Mourinho, while the left-back also committed to a new long-term deal while the self-proclaimed Special One was still at the helm.

It’s just a confidence thing more than anything else. He’s got this squad believing again. Just look at how well Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are playing at the moment. We’ve never seen them look better.

Right now, we go into most games thinking we can win and with the crowd behind the lads this Sunday, it’ll be no different against Liverpool.
