Manchester United have had to cope with the services of Luke Shaw all season long, due to an ongoing injury in which he suffered a multiple bone fracture in his leg. However now the young man is back in first-team training.
With that said, the FA Cup final is believed to have come too soon for the young man, as the Manchester Evening News say that he has suffered a minor setback.
Last week it is believed he had minor surgery on his leg, to remove a screw that had been in place since the initial surgery took place back in September.
That now means the young man will not play for Manchester United again this season, but he will return to pre-season early in order to get himself back to fitness quicker.
Hopefully he can keep his spirit levels high, and keep looking forward. That moment when he returns to the footballing field for the first time since will be a day to savour, and with each passing second he is closer to achieving that goal.
