Luke Shaw will make his Manchester United debut against West Ham

Luke Shaw’s month-long absence due to a hamstring injury probably caused a lot of concerns about his future as Manchester United’s first choice left-back, however the 19-year old is set to get his chance, and probably sooner than he expected after an impressive debut from Marcos Rojo.

Marcos Rojo struggled at the hands of Leicester last time out, Tyler Blackett got sent off and Jonny Evans left the stadium on crutches, presenting Luke Shaw with a chance that he simply has to take.

According to The Telegraph, Luke Shaw has been given the green light to start at home to West Ham and show the Old Trafford crowd exactly what he is capable of.

Luke Shaw was impressive on Manchester United’s pre-season tour, and he played 45 minutes in an U21 game a week or so ago where he just looked too good for that level. Big things are expected of Shaw, and hopefully this start can prove just how good this young man can be.
