Majid Balogun confirms Man Utd move, all-smiles signing contract

Majid Balogun has posted a photo of himself signing his Man United contract.

Manchester United Football Club made no first-team signings in the January transfer window, much to the disappointment of the Old Trafford Faithful.

While it’s understandable due to the fact that no permanent manager is in place, we also know that this squad is one that does need new players to freshen things up.

Well, it does look like one signing has been made; Majid Balogun.

The deal was previously confirmed by Nigerian media last month, though now the player himself has confirmed the move via Twitter.

Balogun looked all-smiles as he was signing his contract, while also adding that he’s now ‘officially a United player’. This is massive news for his whole family – and what a proud day this is.

Balogun makes the move from Lambeth Tigers in the South of England to the biggest club in the country. Apparently, the highly-regarded forward was being chased by some of the Premier League’s best, though in the end, the 20-time champions would win the race to acquire his signature.

Now the hard work really starts for Balogun. The young attacker will no doubt need time to settle into his new surroundings at his new club, though the good news is that time is definitely on his side.

Sure, it’ll be at least a few years before we start hearing this name on a more regular basis, but there is no better place for Balogun and his development as a footballer.

Welcome, Majid!
