Man United are being linked with a move to sign Bayern Munich winger, Kingsley Coman.
The Old Trafford club has been linked with Kingsley Coman on many-an-occasion in the past. It seems like as soon as though the Frenchman isn’t starting games regularly, or there’s talk of a potential Bayern Munich exit, Manchester United are immediately thrown into the ring.
Alas, here we are again. This time, it’s Transfer Market Web, who run a short-but-sweet story on Coman to United.
In an article that’s literally a paragraph long, it’s claimed in their title, that United are ‘adamant’ over signing the 24-year-old, while their story claims that the player is growing into a ‘major target’ for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils.
What I always find remarkable about Coman is that he’s won the lot in France, Germany and Italy. He’s still only 24!
Perhaps now he’s ready to move on again, with only Spain and England left on his list of big five clubs to conquer.
From a United standpoint, this move makes sense. Coman would add some quality to our wide areas, which right now are looking a little thin on the ground due to injuries and players underperforming.
Coman could add some consistency to the mix, while his versatility would no doubt come in handy for Solskjaer and his coaching staff.
With so little to work with from TMW, all that’s left to say is that this would be a good deal, though I’d like to see more sources back up these claims before we can certainly say there’s some truth to the rumour. Coman would be an astute addition, though.
