Man United have agreed to a Dylan Levitt sale this summer.
Erik ten Hag continues to mould and shape his Manchester United squad this summer, with the Red Devils set to go in a different direction.
The Old Trafford club have only made one signing thus far, though a deal to acquire Christian Eriksen looks close. On the other hand, players are being moved on left, right and centre.
It looks as though we’re close to another exit in the form of Dylan Levitt. The Wales international spent last season on loan at Dundee United, before the Reds triggered a one-year extension clause within his contract.
Well, now we may know why. It looks as though United were trying to protect their asset, in order to get some sort of transfer fee back for Levitt…
According to the Manchester Evening News, United have agreed to sell the talented midfielder on a permanent deal. Talks are now at an advanced stage.
Yep, you guessed it, Levitt will head back to Dundee United.
Apparently, Levitt was attracting plenty of interest from EFL sides, with Derby and Cardiff both credited with keenness on signing the 21-year-old.
Levitt did establish himself as a key player at Dundee, with the permanent deal set to go through as early as this week.
This is absolutely a loan success story. Although Levitt won’t get the chance to make it at United, establishing himself as one of the best players in Scotland is absolutely brilliant for him on a personal level.
It was always going to be tough for Levitt to make it here, given the quality ahead of him in the pecking order. He’ll always have that memory of making his debut for United in European competition – and he looked good in that match.
Hopefully, it all works out well for him in Dundee.
