Bruno Fernandes has been the lifeblood of this Manchester United team for the last twelve months. That much is obvious.
Goals, assists, leadership, work ethic. The Portuguese became the lifeblood of this team as soon as he walked through the door. What’s most fascinating to me is that Bruno seems to be absolutely loving every minute of being a Red Devil.
Well, fresh terms may already be in the works for El Magnifico, which seems insane given he’s only been at the club for a year.
According to The Athletic, sources say the subject of a new contract for the United star were raised back in November. That’s despite Fernandes’ current deal not expiring until the summer of 2025, while United hold the option to extend that deal by a further year.
They always say that if you’re good enough and focus on your football, the money will find you. At United, they always look after their best players with a hefty pay-packet and it looks like the Red Devils are being extremely clever with Bruno, ensuring his head isn’t turned even for a second…
Bruno deserves it
It’s pretty mad that we’re even having this conversation, but it’s definitely deserved. Honestly, you could put a blank cheque in front of Fernandes and it’d still be worth it.
I never thought one individual could make such a positive impact on a team as Bruno has. He’s undoubtedly the best signing we’ve made in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era, with Solskjaer deserving massive credit for sanctioning this deal.
Bruno deserves every single penny that’s coming his way.
