Man United are keen on bringing in Real Madrid attacker, Brahim Diaz, this coming summer.
Manchester United are looking to continue their squad overhaul this summer, as the Red Devils try to force themselves back in contention for major trophies on an annual basis.
INEOS are now in charge of footballing operations, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe hoping to hit the ground running with a solid first summer as the front man.
Several names have already been linked with a Reds transfer already. Many more will follow over the next few months. HITC have thrown another face into the mix over the last 24 hours; Brahim Diaz.
The Real Madrid man, who has played 33 games across all competitions, scoring nine goals, is attracting heavy attention.
According to the story, United are among the sides who have ‘shown an interest’ in signing the 24-year-old winger this summer. Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea are also credited with some sort of interest in the ex-Manchester City man.
However, it may not be easy to lure Diaz away from the Santiago Bernabeu, as the attacker is not looking to leave his current club this summer.
Diaz spent three seasons on loan with AC Milan, before making a breakthrough into the Real first-team this season. It’s easy to see why he’s not ready to give that up after working so hard to become a pivotal player for Los Blancos.
The selling point for Diaz is his versatility, showing that he can play all across in the front line in a variety of positions, though if United were to sign him, you’d expect he’d be deployed as a right-winger predominantly.
With a contract until 2027, this one feels like a long shot given Diaz’s preference to remain in Madrid. However, things can change rather quickly in football.
