Man United and Fulham are now back in talks over the potential sale of Scott McTominay.
Manchester United are supposedly in a situation where they have to sell before they can buy, though INEOS have backed Erik ten Hag majorly this summer with four key signings.
Next up comes addressing the midfield. Manuel Ugarte’s name has been heavily linked with a switch to the Theatre of Dreams, though space in the squad has to be made first.
One player touted with a potential Old Trafford exit is Scott McTominay. The Scotland international scored ten goals for the Old Trafford side last term, though remains on the fringes of the starting line-up, often being utilised as a substitute.
Fulham have been heavily linked with a move to sign the United academy graduate this summer, though those discussions seemingly ended without a positive conclusion.
Now, Dharmesh Sheth has provided an update on that front. He claims that United have re-opened talks with Fulham over the major first-team sale.
The London side are now expected to make an ‘improved’ offer if talks go positively. The latest rejected bid was worth around £20m, so we should expect an increase on that.

I don’t mind McTominay, though I wouldn’t lose sleep if he is to be sold this summer. He’s never really pushed on to become a regular starter at Old Trafford and while he did score some crucial goals last term, that campaign was an outlier rather than the norm.
If United can somehow earn around £25m for him, given the fact McTominay only has just one year left on his contract, that’d be a brilliant piece of business.
