Man United are not in talks to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad is shaping up nicely. The addition of Jadon Sancho is a more than welcome one, though there is still a real need for the Red Devils to sign another centre-half.
Raphael Varane has often been linked with an Old Trafford switch. Though, according to Fabrizio Romano, United aren’t in talks to sign Madrid star, Vinicius Junior, this summer.
Now I’m not sure where this link has emerged from, heck, we were completely unaware that United were even interested in signing the Brazilian winger. That said, Romano is the man in the know and he’s seemingly ended these rumours at the source.
Personally, I reckon United should be looking at strengthening other positions first, rather than breaking the bank to sign yet another winger.
That’s not to say Vinicius isn’t a cracking player, he’s brilliant. I just think that we’re already jam-packed in that area of the field and a little short in other positions.
Real Madrid themselves will also have their say. Why on earth would they openly part with Vinicius this summer? We’re talking about a player who is only going to improve as time goes on.
For us, this is an absolute non-starter and it was backed up by Romano.
As you were, folks…
