Man United have been boosted by the return to training of duo, ahead of the game against Newport County.
Manchester United Football Club take on Newport County this weekend, after a fortnight away from the field.
Erik ten Hag’s side will no doubt be chomping at the bit to get back out there and prove that they can go on a real positive run of form and start moving both up the Premier League table and through to the deep end of the FA Cup.
The fortnight break was always going to be a good thing for the Red Devils on the injury front, as the club start to get more and more players back from the treatment table.
Ahead of the Newport game, United have been given a double boost, with a duo now back in training. The official club website shared those photos earlier today, with both Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire in the session.

It’s unclear whether either Shaw or Maguire will take to the field on Sunday. If anything, it could be a substitute appearance for these guys as they start to build up their fitness levels following lengthy injury absences.
Shaw, in particular, is a massively important player to this side. The whole team just seems to click better when he’s out there, as opposed to the likes of Diogo Dalot. Having that first-choice left-back, who knows his teammates inside and out, is key.
As for Maguire, we have to put some respect on his name as he has been superb this term. It would have been easy for him to down tools as Ten Hag tried to sell him over the summer. Instead, he’s risen to the challenge and is performing better than ever before.
Welcome back, lads!
