Man United have been given a team news lift, as both Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez are fit enough to play vs Brighton tomorrow.
Manchester United absolutely need a victory at home to Brighton tomorrow, if only to silence some doubters after the poor start to the season. It’d also demonstrate that the players are still performing for Erik ten Hag, despite his very public spat with Jadon Sancho.
The match was always going to be difficult at the best of times, though the club is also in the midst of a major injury crisis. United are dealing with problems galore.
However, United have been given a big injury lift ahead of this game, as one key duo are fit enough to play vs Brighton. Both Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez are available, per the BBC’s Simon Stone. Sadly, Mason Mount and Raphael Varane remain out.

Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez fit for @ManUtd tomorrow. Mount and Varane not.

The fact that United have a reliable pair of centre-halves ready to play is massive. The side ended the Arsenal game with Jonny Evans and Harry Maguire playing. We all know how that match eventually finished as a result.
With Lindelof over his illness and Licha seemingly good enough to go despite injury, United stand a much better chance at winning all three points in this massive encounter.
From a fan perspective, I feel far more confident in the fact that United will perform better defensively with these guys out on the field, albeit, this will still be a difficult game against a side who are brimming with confidence.
