Real Madrid are ready to test Manchester United’s resolve, as they prepare to bid £100million to lure the Spaniard to the Spanish capital.
According to the Manchester Evening News, per The Sun, Madrid’s interest in the 27-year-old hasn’t wavered since their failed bid to sign him in 2015. In fact, they’re keener than ever on signing him, and currently, they’re in pole position to get their wish.
This saga is inevitably going to rumble on until the deal happens. We all know that, at some point, De Gea is going to head back to his homeland and there is nothing we can do about it.
He’s the best in the world, we’re lucky to have him. Anything short of £100million would be a good deal for Madrid. Heck, they’ve already gotten a bargain out of us when they paid just £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo, let’s not do the same thing again, eh?
If we can keep him at Old Trafford for one more year, I’ll be happy. Let’s go for one last title push with him in between the sticks, and if we can’t pull off the spectacular, then it’s only fair we let him follow his dreams. He’s not moaned or complained once, and that has to be respected.
