Manchester United clearly aren’t hanging around this summer, with Jose Mourinho trying to push through deals before the World Cup starts.
Yesterday, we learned that Fred was set to become the Red Devils’ first signing of the summer, with Gianluca Di Marzio claiming that he’s passed his medical and penned a five-year deal.
Now the excellent Craig Norwood has gotten in on the act – and added that Diogo Dalot will be the second player through the exit door. The Portuguese right-back will have his medical over the next 48 hours.
Fred being the first signing coming into Old Trafford this summer. Diogo Dalot will be the second with a medical pencilled in for the next 48-hours.

United’s full-back situation has been pretty messy recently. Sure, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young did a decent job last season, but the ageing pair are by no means the long-term solution.
Dalot is a player that I don’t know an awful lot about – but he is young, quick, tall and strong. These attributes are key if you want to succeed in the Premier League.
The young man may not be able to come in and start week-in-week-out, but no doubt he’ll get his opportunities from time-to-time. The fact that he can play at both the right and left-back slot certainly plays to his advantage, and I’m looking forward to seeing him in action on United’s pre-season tour of the United States (providing his medical goes well).
