Man United have confirmed that Jadon Sancho has joined Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal.
Manchester United have had a serious Jadon Sancho issue since September. The Englishman had a major fallout with Erik ten Hag, flat-out refusing to play at one point. The gaffer had no choice bot to exile him from the squad.
Sancho has happily been collecting his massive wage on a weekly basis, without a care in the world, without any pressure to play football. However, from today, that will change.
The Red Devils have confirmed that Sancho has headed back to Germany, to join Borussia Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 23-year-old spent four seasons with the Bundesliga club, scoring goals galore and assisting Erling Haaland for fun. Perhaps this move will reignite his love for playing the game, allowing the Englishman to find his best football once again.
He’s in a fortunate position where he’s still so young and a massive club like Dortmund are more than willing to bring him back. This is a risk-free move for the German giants, while this deal has plenty of upside assuming Sancho does perform well.
Sadly, I think it’s too far gone for him here in Manchester. He’s made too many enemies within the dressing room and among the support. Perhaps Sancho thinks otherwise, but I’d honestly be stunned if we see him pull on the Red shirt ever again.
If I’m being brutally honest, I don’t think he deserves that chance after showing a pretty shocking attitude over the lat few months.
