Man United considering Christian Pulisic loan move

Man United are contemplating a sensational loan move to bring in Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.

It feels like every single day, Manchester United are linked with a different winger. The Old Trafford club have been rejected by so many players over the last few days, though for Erik ten Hag, the search continues.

Apparently, that hunt has led United to Stamford Bridge, with Christian Pulisic now named as a possible option for the 20-time Premier League champions.

The Athletic state that United are ‘considering’ taking the struggling Chelsea star on loan for the season.

Apparently, Newcastle United, Atletico Madrid and Juventus have already made approaches for the man who cost £58million back in 2019.

Pulisic has grown frustrated at his lack of starts for the Stamford Bridge club and wants to play more minutes ahead of the World Cup that takes place in Qatar this winter.

Chelsea know the player is unhappy and they’re willing to listen to loan offers. The Athletic also add that the player ‘would prefer’ a Reds switch, rather than the other options on the table.

What I like about Pulisic is his versatility. The American can play on either flank, meaning United could use him in a variety of different ways. This is a deal that has very little downside due to it being a loan, with the potential for massive upside, assuming Pulisic can hit the ground running.

If the transfer happens, Pulisic would be coming to Manchester with a real point to prove. I guess the only issue is that he wouldn’t be able to play in the games against Chelsea, but I’d be all for this transfer happening. At least it’d give Ten Hag another option in the final third.

Do you think Christian Pulisic would be a good loan addition for Man United? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
