Man United get three players back from injury as the Red Devils take on Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Manchester United Football Club are looking to really kick on during the second half of the season, proving that their first portion of the campaign was just a blip and nothing more.

Players are now returning from the treatment table, which is going to be absolutely vital for Erik ten Hag and his chances at surviving the sack.

Next up is another tough game against a Tottenham Hotspur side, who themselves, have had their own issues of late. Although the likes of Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez are still a little way away, there could be some good news on the treatment table front for the Old Trafford club.

United could welcome back as many as three players this weekend, with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire all potentially available. Mason Mount may need another few days, but he’s also not too far away.

Check out what the gaffer had to say in full here:

“Yeah. I think there will be some players, I think it’s hopeful that they can be back at the weekend,” Ten Hag told ManUtd.com.

“So I’m talking about Christian Eriksen, potentially Luke Shaw.

“Harry maybe, Mason I think he needs some days or a week more.”

Suddenly, the squad will look pretty stacked when everyone is back in a few weeks time (Assuming no more injuries are picked up along the way).

It obviously helps when you’ve got a fully fit squad to choose from, as Ten Hag is a meticulous manager who likes to change his side from game-to-game depending on the situation.

I really do believe having Licha and Case back will be huge, though as we’ve seen recently, the likes of Maguire, Eriksen and Shaw have big parts to play.

The one I’m most interested in watching is Mount. We’ve barely seen him out on the field since he arrived in Manchester. All he needs is a good run of games and I reckon we’ll start to see some high level football from the Englishman.

In terms of whether any of these guys will be thrust back into it immediately, I’m not so sure. There’s an argument to be made that Shaw could come straight back into the XI, while Maguire hasn’t been out for too long so he could be good to go.

Do you think we’ll see any of these guys start vs Tottenham? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
