They’re claiming that Jadon Sancho is set to deal United a transfer blow – by snubbing a move to Old Trafford in favour of staying with Borussia Dortmund for another year.
Honestly, can you blame the 19-year-old? United cannot offer him Champions League football and if Sancho paid any attention whatsoever to the Manchester outfit, he’ll see just how tragically bad the performances have been.
When you think about just how good Dortmund have been for his career, why should he be in a hurry to move away from that? Particularly when he’d be moving to a dysfunctional and struggling organisation instead…
Although United are apparently willing to spend £100million on Sancho it looks as though they’re going to have to splash the cash elsewhere. This story could probably bring even more truth to the Daniel James rumours, with the Reds seemingly keen on adding a young and hungry winger to a team that has struggled for production off both flanks this term.
