Manchester United have been handed a major boost ahead of their game against CSKA Moscow, which takes place at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
According to journalist Rob Dawson of ESPN, Phil Jones has been back in training with the rest of the group. On top of that, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was also involved, despite missing the last couple of games.

As we all know, Jones grew into the role as Manchester United’s starting centre-back as the season progressed, but then, in typical fashion, he picked up an injury which was a huge concern.
Now it looks as though he’s on the road to recovery, although I’d imagine the CSKA game will come too soon for him. United have looked quite thin at the back over the last week or so due to Jones’ injury, but also Eric Bailly being out, too. That was eased by the return of Marcos Rojo, but to have Jones back is massive.
Will he play in the derby on Sunday? It’s too soon to say, but I’m guessing that’s Mourinho’s hope, because I’d go as far as saying that Jones has been our best centre-back so far this campaign.
