The Napoli superstar is just a sensational defender. Quick, strong, great in the air and tough in the tackle. He has all the makings of an elite Premier League defender, whom, although it hurts to say it, could have a similar impact that Virgil van Dijk made at Liverpool.
Obviously, the Senegalese will not come cheap with Napoli likely to ask for a small fortune to be persuaded with parting with their prized asset, but if anybody can afford him, United can.
Hopefully, when the summer rolls around, United can make headway in talks with Napoli early on and convince the player to choose United – because no doubt, he’ll attract plenty of interest.
