Man United have had two players included in the latest BBC TOTW following the 1-0 victory over West Ham United.

The growth Manchester United have made under Erik ten Hag is there for all to see. The Dutchman’s strict regime, firm-but-fair management style and general demeanour is absolutely helping turn our fortunes around.

Sure, there’s a long way to go, but with each passing game, we supporters are feeling more and more impressed. Yesterday’s 1-0 victory over West Ham United was another step in the right direction.

Although the performance wasn’t as crisp as we’ve seen in recent weeks, the togetherness and mentality to fight for one another was on full display. It was a team performance. Every single player contributed positively. That’s arguably better than winning 5-0.

It was Marcus Rashford who scooped the headlines with a thumping header (his 100th goal for the club). However, defensively, United were stunning.

Lisandro Martinez was monstrous at centre-back, while Diogo Dalot played the most complete full-back performance I’ve seen this season. He was absolutely superb.

For their displays, a Man United duo have been named in the latest BBC TOTW after their individual displays vs West Ham. Both Dalot and Rashford have been included, though Martinez, sadly, has been snubbed.

Check out the inclusion of the United duo in the latest BBC TOTW here:

Let’s start with Dalot. I’ll admit, I thought there was no way back for him at United a year ago. However, his transformation under Ten Hag has been nothing short of sensational.

Yesterday’s display was arguably his best. The amount of vital back-post headers the Portugal international won left me absolutely stunned. He was spectacular in that aspect. Hopefully, United can tie him down to a new long-term contract soon…

Then we have Rashford. The Englishman’s 100th goal was special. A thumping header from an inch-perfect Christian Eriksen cross. More than that, though, you look at the overall performance. It was a hard-working, complete display from the Englishman – with Gareth Southgate watching on from the stands.

I feel sad for Licha, who absolutely deserves to be in this squad. Without his aggressive style of defending. I genuinely don’t believe we win that match.
