Negotiations with United are ongoing, with talks set to continue Friday (today) as no agreement was reached on Thursday.
It has now been determined that Dybala will not train with Juventus until August 5th at the earliest (provided he’ still at the club), although the next few days in the saga could be ‘decisive’ as the Premier League’s transfer deadline day is rapidly approaching…
If, somehow, United could pull this off, it’d be an absolute masterstroke from Edward Woodward. Signing a top-class attacker while clearing Lukaku off the books would be huge – though it’s easier said than done.
Persuading the elite players to make the switch to Old Trafford without Champions League football on the table isn’t easy, but who knows, maybe, just maybe, Edward Woodward can pull this one off.
