Man United are going to listen to offers for Aaron Wan-Bissaka when the summer transfer window opens.

Manchester United’s squad will hopefully look very different at the start of next season. It’s now clear that this current group are just not good enough to compete at the highest level on a weekly basis.

INEOS will not splash the cash this summer, while they hope to fetch in a large chunk of money back in from player sales, in an effort to bolster the funds available to whoever the manager is…

Several names are on the fringes of the first-team, though they’ve been tough to move on from due to their overinflated wages. The likes of Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek and Jadon Sancho will all hopefully find new clubs this summer.

One man whose head is also potentially on the chopping block is Aaron Wan-Bissaka. ‘The Spider’ has improved under Erik ten Hag, though it has always been clear he’s never been the perfect stylistic fit.

Now, according to the Manchester Evening News, United are ‘expected’ to listen to offers for the star, who has actually started the last eight games in a row for the Reds, amid a defensive injury crisis.

Wan-Bissaka’s current deal expires in 2025, so unless United are planning to offer new terms to the former Crystal Palace man, this feels like the last possible chance to cash in.

The Old Trafford side spent £50m to bring Wan-Bissaka in from Palace under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and although he has some brilliant defensive traits, he’s always going to struggle in the final third. In the modern-day game, you need your full-backs to have that on-ball quality.

When everyone is fit, Wan-Bissaka doesn’t get into the team. For that reason alone, I’d certainly consider moving on from him if a decent offer is received over the coming months.
