Man United eyeing move for Spanish winger, 27-year-old considering his options: report

Manchester United Football Club are eyeing a move for Real Madrid’s winger, Lucas Vazquez.

According to the Manchester Evening News, who are citing Spanish reports, the 27-year-old is considering his options before the new season gets underway.

Apparently, Jose Mourinho is at the front of the queue to sign the right-sided attacker, with the player concerned about his future under former Spain boss, Julen Lopetegui; although Real Madrid themselves would prefer to keep ahold of the Spaniard.

Signing Vazquez would be an astute piece of business. This is a guy who has been in and around the dressing room at a major European club, and he knows how to handle the spotlight.

In terms of a player, he’d be an excellent addition. United haven’t got that right-winger whom they can rely upon and trust, Vasquez would bring real quality into an area that needs it.

Personally, I feel the only stumbling block could come when discussing a transfer fee. If Madrid want to keep him, they’ll be under no pressure to sell, meaning they can demand pretty much what they’d like.

If Vazquez does decide to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, the report adds that both Liverpool and Arsenal are also keen…
