Man United fans were less than impressed with what they saw from Alex Telles vs Norwich City…

Well, the Red Devils made extra hard work of it, but in the end, Manchester United managed to win all three points against Norwich City.

The game itself was actually pretty entertaining for the neutral. Cristiano Ronaldo continued to do Cristiano Ronaldo things, while our defence continued to underperform.

It’s normally Harry Maguire who takes most of the flak but this morning, it’s our full-backs. I think it’s fair to say that both Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles just aren’t good enough.

In particular, the latter struggled yesterday. Defensively, Telles is just atrocious. He’s positionally unaware, somewhat lazy when tracking back and in truth, he’s just a mess when it comes to defending his own goal.

With Luke Shaw likely done for the season, it’s a sight we Reds fans are going to have to get used to. But, we have every right to expect better from a man whose job, first and foremost, is to defend.

Sure, he’s a brilliant crosser of the ball, as his corner in for Ronaldo’s second show. But what’s the good in having that in your locker if you’re going to be culpable at the other end every time the opponent is attacking?

I’m just majorly concerned about our whole back four right now. Like I said, Maguire cops a lot of the heat, but Telles is equally as guilty as our club captain these days…

As you’d imagine, United fans took to Twitter by the masses to express their disappointment in the 29-year-old, who struggled badly vs a poor Norwich City side…
