Man United fans heap praise on Mason Greenwood following mature display vs Watford

It has been a pretty good week for us Manchester United fans, huh? Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side now sit fifth in the Premier League table, just three points off the top-four.

Credit where it’s due, the Baby Faced Assassin has his players fighting for him, at the most opportune time of the season, too. With big games ahead, the work isn’t finished, though we’re starting to see the potential of this young team.

Nobody epitomises it more than Mason Greenwood. An academy product who was given his chance by Solskjaer on the final day of last season, and slowly integrated into the squad this term.

Again, it would’ve been easy to overplay and utilise Greenwood too often. Solskjaer has man-managed him perfectly and the rewards are being reaped.

Twelve goals and four assists is a sublime tally for someone aged just eighteen, though yesterday’s display against Watford was by far his most complete.

Greenwood has two great feet, is a willing passer, will always threaten defences and you just know that when given a chance, he’s going to hit the target.

His strike against Watford was just simply sublime, as was the link-up play with Bruno Fernandes. It’s just a shame he picked up that late injury, which hopefully, isn’t too serious and he can be a vital player for United during this run-in.

Anyway, as you’d imagine, the United fans were heaping praise on the talented attacker following his great display vs Watford – and rightly so, too!
