First things first, Henderson has to impress on the training field. After all, I’d be highly surprised if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted to go with the Englishman in our first Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
It’s going to be a process for Henderson. All he can do is wait for his opportunity – then never look back once he gets that chance.
Us Reds fans can breathe a sigh of relief, though, knowing Henderson isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

In a summer that has been less-than-ideal for United, it’s nice for us fans to have something positive to talk about. Henderson is a mega-talented young man who is living out his dream. What’s not to like about that?
We’re talking about someone who is United through and through. He’s ready to make his mark. The hard work really starts now, and I can’t wait to see how he handles the pressure of playing for the biggest club in the country. Sure, he may well have to be patient, but at least he now knows where he stands.
This man is the future. Quite possibly, he’s the present. It’s certainly going to be interesting to see how Solskjaer handles this one.
