Well, this isn’t an article I expected to be writing today, but Mino Raiola has been giving it the big’un once again. Manchester United fans have taken to social media in their droves to react to the latest Paul Pogba news.
Rather than approaching this from the typical news perspective, we’ve decided to get a fans’ take on it. Before that, though, I’ll give you a little insight into what was said.
Simply put, Mino Raiola has claimed that ‘It’s over’ for Paul Pogba at Manchester United.
Timing-wise, this has been pretty horrendous. After all, Pogba played his best half of football this season just this weekend. Surely his agent knows that fueling the fire on the evening of United’s biggest game this term probably wasn’t the wisest idea…?
My personal view is that Pogba shouldn’t play for United again. If he truly wants out, what’s the point in giving minutes to someone who doesn’t really care about the badge on his chest? If the Frenchman is that bothered, he’d immediately fire Raiola as his agent.
I was pleased to learn that I’m not the only one who wants to see Pogba leave, either. The fans would take to Twitter in their masses to call for the 27-year-old to leave the club after this latest bombshell. Rightly so, too.

At this point, there’s just far too much water under the bridge. Pogba gives off the attitude that he just doesn’t care about this club anymore. With that in mind, I’d ship him as soon as physically possible.
This doesn’t come off as a transfer that’d be likely to happen in the mid-season window, though. However, next summer, it feels like a no-brainer that he’ll be playing for a different club, hopefully in a different country.
The good news is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already started phasing him out of his side. No longer is Pogba an undroppable part of this United team, rather a bit-part player these days. I do hope he isn’t involved tomorrow night after this, though.
