Blimey, what a game, what a performance, what a team. Manchester United just look like a completely different outfit under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and it’s just so enjoyable to watch.
The players are performing with a newfound freedom and belief. They’ve been allowed to let the shackles off, they’re just playing entertaining football which is all we ask for.
Today’s game was an exciting 1-0 win, but there is absolutely no way we’d be celebrating all three points without David de Gea in between the sticks.
Saves with his hands, saves with his feet, he commanded his area and distributed excellently. It was arguably his finest performance in United colours, and the way he kept Spurs at bay was just sublime.
He truly is the best in the business. When he’s happy and enjoying life, he’s borderline unbeatable and we’re so lucky to call him one of our own.
I guess now the task is to pay him whatever he wants and tie him down to a new long-term contract. For now, though, let’s just enjoy the moment. These United fans certainly did:
