Manchester United Football Club made hard work of it, but the Red Devils are into the final four of the FA Cup. The game itself was a pretty drab affair, though in the end, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side made the extra man count and scored a late winner via Harry Maguire.
It’s never easy to play against 10 men, though Solskjaer definitely went for it, by subbing off a centre-half for a striker in extra-time.
In the end, though, Slabhead steals the headlines. However, it was yet again down to Paul Pogba – who’s ingenuity, creativity and guile helped United through.
Since returning from lockdown, Pogba has been pretty spectacular. He’s playing with the right attitude, mentality and desire – and it’s brilliant to see.
It was his little flick through that broke the lines of the Norwich City defence that helped fire United to a Wembley showpiece. You just can’t teach that.
As you’d imagine, Twitter was full of praise for the incredible cameo from United’s key star, and rightly so, too. He has been playing like a man possessed and with him in this form, anything is genuinely possible.
