Man United fans unimpressed with Dan James display vs Leeds

Dan James was ordinary last night vs Leeds United, with fans less-than-impressed with his overall performance.

For Manchester United, last night was certainly two points dropped. The sad truth is, we could still be playing now and the Reds still wouldn’t have scored.

Our title hopes were already slim, this just confirmed it, which is why there is a fair bit of bad blood all over social media at the moment. In reality, our title race was run long ago…

Failing to score against this Leeds United side, who tend to concede plenty of goals, shows that we’re still some way away from seriously challenging for a Premier League title.

The onus falls on the front three, with one, in particular, coming in for the most criticism; Daniel James.

Our Wales winger has some great attributes that Solskjaer can use as a massive strength. Sometimes, though, he just doesn’t cut the mustard in these tight-knit games. Leeds United wasn’t going to let us counter-attack on Sunday – and at that moment, James became worthless.

Sure, he works hard for the cause but against the low-block, James just doesn’t have the footballing IQ to make the right decision or play the right pass.

The good news is he’s still young enough to add that to his game, though right now, James is still a fairly one-dimensional player and that was on full display at Elland Road yesterday afternoon.

As you’d imagine, United fans weren’t happy as the Reds star dropped a dreadful display vs Leeds. They took to Twitter by the masses to react.
