Man United fear Paul Pogba will not show up for flight to Australia for tour: report

How to solve a problem like Paul Pogba, eh? After a few years of trying to get the mercurial Frenchman to fit into this Manchester United team, things have gone from bad to worse this summer.

The Red Devils star has admitted he’d like a ‘new challenge’ during the transfer window, while before today, Pogba was yet to show up for pre-season tour at the AON Training Complex.

Now we’ve been given another update on Pogba’s future at Old Trafford. It comes from The Sun in an exclusive, who state that United ‘fear’ their 26-year-old star will not show up for the Reds’ pre-season flight to Australia later today.

Apparently, United chiefs are ‘holding their breath’ over whether Pogba will catch the flight to Australasia, although the midfielder has made it clear he wants to leave.

Pogba was actually given extra time off due to commitments with the France national team, but the fact that United don’t yet know whether he’ll be aboard the plane is just embarrassing all-round.

This is a player who United are paying hefty wages to, and the club has bent over backwards for this guy on several occasions over the last three years. Now he’s possibly going to not bother turning up for pre-season tour as he’s yet to seal a move away? Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

If he doesn’t turn up, he’ll have lost many loyal supporters who have backed him all the way so far, that’s for sure…
