Manchester United returned to winning ways in midweek, largely thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s brilliance in front of goal. The big Belgian will now be breathing down his neck, though…
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer met the media today, as the Red Devils prepare for their next game against Southampton, and gave us all a huge bit of news.
The Baby Faced Assassin confirmed that Marcus Rashford is now fully fit and ready to play, while also adding the young Englishman will probably start.
“Rashford is fully fit now. I’ll probably start him,” Solskjaer told reporters, including ManUtd.com.
To have even one player back from injury is just a huge plus. The squad has been completely decimated with injury over the last week or so, and although it’s still looking thin in some areas, we’re getting back up to capacity in the final third.
Rashford’s pace, clinical finishing and work-rate have improved hugely since Solskjaer took charge at the wheel, and there is no doubt that Southampton will be worried about facing him this Saturday.
If he can come back with a bang and score a goal or two on the way to a United victory, the injury will be forgotten and it’ll feel like he had never been away!
