Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia could be in line for a return to the Manchester United squad against Crystal Palace. That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, as per The Metro.
Apparently, the pair were spotted with the rest of the squad at the Lowry Hotel on Friday, which is where the team spends the night before a match.
The pair did not travel to Russia to play against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night due to apparent injuries, but it seems as though their problems cannot be too serious if both may be involved on Saturday.
Jones has been absolutely brilliant at the start of this season. Defensively, he’s not given opposing attackers a sniff of an opportunity and he’s finally starting to look like the player that we signed from Blackburn Rovers over five years ago now.
Valencia has always been a cracking player, and Manchester United usually play better with him in the team. This is a guy who is stern defensively and brilliant going forward. He always offers himself as an outlet in the final third and every now and then he’ll pop u with a goal or two…
