Man United get much-needed injury boost ahead of Tottenham Hotspur clash: report

Finally, Manchester United will receive some positive injury news for a change. According to The Telegraph, Jose Mourinho will have Eric Bailly ready for selection when the Red Devils host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

The Ivory Coast international has missed United’s last three games, and although he won’t be available to take on Swansea City on Tuesday night, the centre-back will be back by the weekend.

Since his arrival from Villareal last summer, Bailly has been by far and away our most reliable centre-half. He’s shown a maturity beyond his years, and some of the tackles he makes have been absolutely unbelievable.

It comes as no surprise to me that we’ve played our worst football of the 2017/18 campaign so far when Bailly has been out injured, and thankfully, he’ll be ready to go to take on Tottenham in a game of huge importance.

The Telegraph also gave us an update on Phil Jones, they say that United are yet to discover the severity of the injury that the Englishman suffered whilst taking on Huddersfield. Hopefully, it isn’t anything serious, because he’s been superb to start off the year.
